Afrikana Human Studies would be "the study of Afrikan life whenever and wherever we find it, using Afrikan modalities of thought and ways of knowing."

Applied Afrikana Studies. The process of using and reflection upon Afrikana wisdom to generate resources that serve Afrikana peoples and the greater Cosmos.
